Personal Projects
Here are highlights of some of my personal projects: a costume for Lucy from Jekyll & Hyde by Frank Wildhorn, two hand-beaded necklaces, and two hand-beaded bracelets.
Lucy
This was my first-ever design project in college! Includes hand-woven necklace cord, self-drafted skirt (with hand-sewn ruffle trim), purchased corset with added fringe and embroidery, handmade and dyed purse, reshaped straw hat (with added feathers, embroidered trim, straps, and handmade rosette), chemise with added lace, pantaloons from an old skirt, distressed shawl with fabric-painted lace, and distressed shoes.

Hand-Beaded Necklaces
For the first, I used freshwater pearls, glass beads, silk cord, vintage clasp and jump rings, and a 1940’s Victorian Revival cameo pendant from my great-grandmother (pattern by Beading Tutorials). The second is a rainbow choker in honor of Pride Month, with a commonly used beading pattern.

Hand-Beaded Bracelets
For the one on the right, I used silver-lined glass beads, pink shell beads, blue glass rondelle beads, a brass clasp, and nylon cord. Pattern by Beaded Jewelry. For the one on the left, I used red and teal ceramic beads, glass rondelle beads, nylon cord, and brass clasps. Pattern by Bozic Art.
