In Winter 2022, I was the Costume Designer for Southern Utah University's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. I drafted the pattern for Charlie Brown and Sally's costumes, constructed Sally's dress, created designs for the rest of the cast, shopped for fabric and pre-made costume pieces, and designed the wigs. As this was the first show I designed without assistance, my top 3 biggest challenges were sewing 109 individual flowers on Sally's dress, figuring out how to make Snoopy look dog-inspired rather than a literal dog, and communicating between all the different production departments, but I felt great about how it all turned out! The show was directed by Scott C. Knowles, with scenic design by Riley Myers, and lighting design by Austyn J. Clark. The first photo in the "Sally's Dress" gallery is by Asher J. Swan.
